Vax Vacuum Cleaner products are the result of one man's dream to transform his personal knowledge of the carpet cleaning industry into a viable business that could manufacture and market machines that were small enough to enable consumers to wash their own carpets without commercial assistance. Vax Limited was born in 1977, and its creator - Alan Brazier - soon managed t make his dream a reality. Though it took a number of experiments and trial and error, Brazier finally managed to design an initial model that could not only clean carpets, but that could vacuum and remove spillage as well. He manufactured his first Vax Vacuum units in 1979, which were then sold from door to door until Vax changed its strategy in 1982 to allow for the Vax Vacuum Cleaner products to be sold in retail stores.
Vax soon became the best selling vacuum cleaner in Britain, and has since expanded its sales to more than 40 nations around the world. The manufacturers of Vax Vacuum Cleaner products have earned a reputation among the company's customers of being committed to cutting edge technology, and customer and product service. Vax has maintained its attention to quality floor cleaning for more than 25 years, and have continued to develop new products and cleaning tools designed to make consumers' lives easier. Vax is also one of the most aggressive companies in the world when it comes to conducting focus groups to determine customer reaction to its product designs, in its relentless desire to meet the needs of its customers. This attention to customer details has helped Vax to be successful in Europe, Asia, and elsewhere. By routinely testing Vax Vacuum ideas with their customer base, Vax is able to maintain its edge in customer satisfaction, and has often been able to anticipate customer needs before they fully gel in the marketplace.
Vax Vacuum models are considered easy to maneuver, whether it is the upright Vax Vacuum Cleaner, or the smaller cylinder, carpet washers, or handheld units. Every Vax Vacuum Cleaner comes equipped with a two-stage filtration system that includes a HEP filter that traps nearly all of the allergenic particles in the air. With the variety of Vax Vacuum models from which consumers can choose, every cleaning need of every home can easily be managed, whether it is soaking up messy spills, common vacuuming tasks, or deep carpet cleaning. Many of the Vax Vacuum Cleaner units are multi-purpose as well.
Vax Vacuum Cleaner technology has earned praise from many quarters for their mid-level price - one of Vax's most popular units costs a mere $240 - as well as for their bagless convenience. Most customers also appreciate the fact that it has a rewinding cord. However, others feel that Vax Vacuum Cleaner models are simply too noisy for regular usage and that they are somewhat heavier than other brands. In addition, many people find it annoying that they must shake out the filter and empty the canister much more often than with other models - usually after a mere two rooms worth of vacuuming.
