The Sanitaire line of vacuum cleaners have been sold to consumers for more than fifty years, and home sales remained a staple of the company's product line until the first Sanitaire Vacuum Cleaner was offered to the commercial market in response to heavy demand. Sanitaire receives much credit from many experts for helping to develop what was, until the 1970s, a very small segment of the marketplace. With Sanitaire's heavy investment in the commercial cleaning niche market, that market soon expanded to encompass businesses of every stripe across the entire nation. Schools, hotels, and other businesses that had once relied upon on-site cleaning crews now had an avenue for cleaning that offered them top of the line products that saved them time and money.
Whether under the ownership of Eureka, or Electrolux, the Sanitaire Vacuum Line has maintained its solid reputation for performance and affordability. Commercial cleaning outfits have long appreciated the ability to trade Sanitaire Vacuum parts so as to service them without trips to the repair shop, as we as the Sanitaire Vacuum filtration system that eliminated the need for bags. For more than 35 years, Sanitaire Vacuum Cleaner models have been cleaning commercial buildings, and one of their models is still an invaluable tool for homeowners as well. There are even cases of Sanitaire Vacuum Cleaner units that have been in continuous use for nearly 20 years straight.
The one Sanitaire Vacuum Cleaner that still has a solid reputation for homeowner's use is the Quick Kleen Vacuum. An upright model, this Sanitaire Vacuum was originally designed for commercial applications, but many people have begun to purchase them for home use as well. It is considered one of the best Sanitaire Vacuum models for carpet cleaning, but it has no application for cleaning hard floors or other surfaces - so unless you are looking for a powerful vacuum cleaner that is only designated for carpeting needs, this vacuum cleaner will not be for you. In addition, some users find the 12-inch cleaning width a bit narrow to quickly clean their homes. And with a 7 amp motor, this Sanitaire Vacuum Cleaner is far from the most powerful unit available. Then there is the little fact that the warranty only covers commercial usage, so any damage that takes place to the unit while cleaning your home will result in the warranty being voided.
The fact remains, however, that this Sanitaire Vacuum is very good at what it is designed to do, and that is clean carpets. It was not designed to clean hard floors, upholstery, drapes, stairs, or anything else. If cleaning heavy concentrations of dust and dirt from your carpets is your main need, this Sanitaire Vacuum Cleaner may work for you. If not, the Sanitaire is probably the wrong brand for your cleaning needs. If, however, you find that you have a use for a durable vacuum cleaner of single-minded purpose, you could do a lot worse than this Sanitaire Vacuum Cleaner - especially when you consider that it retails for around two hundred dollars.
