The Reliable Vacuum Cleaner is manufactured by the Reliable Corporation, which has its origins in the Reliable Sewing machine Company in 1955. First formed by Milton Kahn and Isaac Silberman, the new company focused on selling merchandise related to sewing and apparel - including used sewing machines, sewing tables, and other products - directly out of a garage and basement. Though their location was simple, their dreams were not, and both men were dedicated to bringing their customers the very best products that they could locate. It did not take them long to become successful enough to require their own store, and the company has moved numerous times through the years to accommodate its need for greater space. Milton Kahn passed away in 1991, with his son taking over the company and beginning its transformation into the modern company that it is today.
