ProTeam was founded in 1987 by a group of cleaning experts who had grown tired of the methods of cleaning that were available at the time. They knew that, if they set their collective minds to it, they could develop new methodologies and new technology that would enable commercial cleaning to be more productive and efficient for businesses everywhere. ProTeam set about to do this in a different manner than most vacuum cleaner companies, relying more upon educating the public about the need for effective cleaning products than in the heavily concentrated, high dollar marketing campaigns used by ProTeam's competitors. That educational approach has helped ProTeam Vacuum Cleaner technology to find a stable home in many businesses across the United States.
ProTeam has earned a reputation as one of the first to develop lightweight backpack units that combine cleaning power with an ergonomic design for occupation health and safety. When ProTeam Vacuum Cleaner technology is designed, it is always done so with workplace safety and employee health in mind. One of the problems in the industry that was initially identified by the company's founders was the failure of most vacuum cleaner manufacturers to give due diligence to designing vacuum technology that was packaged with the health of building occupants and employees as a central concern. ProTeam Vacuum Cleaner models all use cutting edge ergonomic design as the focal point for the machine. If it isn't healthy to use, it won't carry the ProTeam brand.
The ProTeam Vacuum line encompasses 19 different models of varying design and function that are able to handle any cleaning job, no matter how large or small it may be. Every ProTeam Vacuum includes their Four Level filtration system. The ProTeam Vacuum line includes upright, canister, and hip-style models, as well as HEPA Level Filtration units. As noted, the ProTeam Vacuum marketing strategy is geared toward educating the public about the need for effective cleaning products that protect the health and welfare of employees and others in any commercial building. To that end, hundreds of articles and research papers have been published by the company, detailing the many positive benefits of using ProTeam Vacuum Cleaner technology, and in particular the company's backpack vacuums. The ProTeam Coachvac vacuum, for instance, is a powerful unit that is extremely effective n navigating the many objects and obstacles in any office environment. At only eleven pounds, this ProTeam Vacuum Cleaner is small and light enough for any janitor to use with ease
There have been some concerns with certain aspects of ProTeam Vacuum models, ranging from the common complaints about cords to more specific problems with the power switch. Granted, having the on/off switch located on the canister rather than on the cord forces the person wearing the unit to engage in somewhat of a contortionist act to reach the switch - since it is located behind anyone wearing it. However, that is really the only serious complaint that is systemic to the ProTeam Vacuum Cleaner backpack line. In general, ProTeam Vacuum models have a well-deserved reputation for effective cleaning of commercial areas, and even consumers who wish to take their home cleaning to the next level.
