The Panasonic Vacuum Cleaner has been the American brand name for the product manufactured and sold by Japanese manufacturing giant Matsushita Electric Industrial Company. Matsushita had originally intended to name its American distribution brand National, but chose Panasonic after discovering that National was already taken by another company. The Panasonic brand has proven so popular for Matsushita that in 2008, the company itself changed its name to the Panasonic Corporation. Panasonic Vacuum Cleaner sales now cumulatively total more than one hundred million units worldwide, and the Panasonic Vacuum is an important component of Panasonic's overall sales strategy, with sales of the Panasonic Vacuum and Panasonic Vacuum Parts contributing to the company's growing market access.
The Panasonic Vacuum Cleaner line is made up of three types of Panasonic Vacuums, which are the canister and upright models, and the Platinum Line Panasonic Vacuum Cleaner. The Panasonic Vacuum line includes models that sell for a broad range of prices, with the Platinum line being at the high end of the spectrum. Panasonic's reputation in the marketplace is a solid one, as a result of their ability to appeal to both high and low end users. As with most major home appliance purchases, Panasonic Vacuums and Panasonic Vacuum parts have both their strong proponents and ardent critics, with the vast majority of users falling somewhere in between.
The various features on the Panasonic Vacuum Cleaner models vary considerably from model to model. It is important, therefore, to ensure that you evaluate your cleaning needs prior to choosing a particular unit. Many of the Panasonic Vacuum Cleaner models are quite efficient at controlling pet dander and other allergens, with HEPA filters and other Panasonic Vacuum parts that ensure that your floor and air is cleared of the smallest of particles. Among the many Panasonic Vacuum parts and attachments are the telescopic wand and dirt indicator. The MC-V9644 canister Panasonic Vacuum is unique in that it contains technology that actually tells you when the floor is clean. This is a novel, cutting edge bit of technology that shows just how forward looking this company is, as these are the types of innovations required for the next generation of robotic cleaners.
As you might expect, not all is happiness and rainbows with the Panasonic reputation, as even this brand has its critics. Common complaints against various Panasonic Vacuum models typically concern the weight of various models, as some consumers find some of the units too heavy to move around comfortably. In addition, some have complained about the time that it takes to clean or replace the filters in a Panasonic Vacuum. Many of the complaints about Panasonic Vacuum Cleaners, however, appear to be the result of faulty expectations, which is why it is always important to research thoroughly before making any major purchase of a vacuum cleaner of any kind. There are so many different combinations of features within the various Panasonic models that many consumers are easily confused. For value and durability, though, many consumers find that their research leads them to try Panasonic Vacuums and Panasonic Vacuum parts.
